Last year Amazon launched Amazon Key which is a new initiative by the company where through a combination of hardware and software and a Prime subscription, users will be able to allow delivery people to make the delivery of your package directly into your home instead of leaving it outside.
This means no longer having to worry about stolen packages or rescheduled deliveries. The good news is that Amazon has since announced the nationwide availability of Amazon Key and also a special pricing on the Home Kit which comes with the Amazon Cloud Cam and a selection of eight different lock brands to choose from, all of which will be compatible with Alexa.
Speaking of lock brands, Amazon has also expanded the number of smart locks that will be compatible with Amazon Key, which includes options from manufacturers like Kwikset and Yale. According to Amazon and depending on the model that you have chosen, customers can save anywhere between $109.99 to $139.99 based on the current promotion.
Note that the Home Kits aren’t limited to just Prime members and are available to all. This means that if you’re just looking for a way to make your home smarter, these bundles could be worth taking a look at which you can find on Amazon’s website.
