One of the rumors of this year’s iPhones is that Apple could once again be launching three iPhone models. One will be a cheaper LCD model, while the other two are rumored to be the iPhone X, with one model rumored to sport a bigger display. Now thanks to a post on the MacX forum (via AppleInsider), an alleged photo of its display has made its way online.

The display in question is said to have originated from LG Display’s manufacturing facility in Vietnam. Now it might seem a little early to start producing components, but apparently this is only a trial run, presumably to test whether or not they will be able to make it to Apple’s standards and quality.

Whether or not this is true remains to be seen, but if anything it seems that the photo also “confirms” that the notch on the iPhone X will remain. It has been rumored that the notch will be smaller, but it’s hard to tell based on this photo as it is unclear as to how big the person’s hand is (a smaller hand could give the illusion that the display is bigger than it really is, and vice versa).

However we have heard reports that LG could be one of Apple’s suppliers for OLED screens for the iPhone X this year. It was rumored that LG would supply Apple’s 2017 iPhone X but that report did not pan out.
