PlayStation Plus subscribers will be waiting to find out which games they will receive for free as part of their subscription. Sony has now confirmed the PlayStation Plus free games for the month of October 2017. The coming month’s lineup is headlined by open-world stealth action title Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, a game that was very well received by the community, is included in next month’s lineup of free games. The title picks up nine years after the events of MGSV: Ground Zeroes and the fall of Mother Base.

Amnesia: Collection is next in the lineup. It contains both The Dark Descent and A Machine for Pigs. The spooky titles are best played at night with the lights off to get an enhanced user experience. Both of these titles will be available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers on PlayStation 4.

A couple of titles are free for PS3 as well. Monster Jam Battlegrounds and Hustle Kings will be free for subscribers who own a PlayStation 3. Hue and Sky Force Anniversary are free for PlayStation Vita. Both titles support cross buy with PlayStation 4. Sky Force Anniversary supports cross buy with PlayStation 3 as well.

To celebrate PlayStation VR’s anniversary next month, the PlayStation Store is going to offer discounts on several games. Check the PS Store on October 10th for more details.
