When you think of games like Battlefield or Call of Duty, there’s a good chance you might associate those titles with its online multiplayer feature, where players can play against others in various matches and modes. However let’s not forget that these games also have a single-player mode where sometimes the multiplayer aspect can overshadow its story.
That being said if you fancy yourself more of a single-player kind of gamer, then you might be interested in checking out the trailer above which is the recently released story trailer for Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty: WWII.
According to the trailer’s description, “Call of Duty: WWII tells the story of Private Ronald “Red” Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day, one of the largest amphibious assaults in history. After surviving the beaches of Normandy, Red and his squad will fight their way across Europe, engaging the enemy in iconic battle locations such as the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, as they make their way into Germany.”
Call of Duty: WWII is currently set for a release on the 3rd of November where it will find its way to the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC. In fact the game’s open beta for the PC will be kicking off on the 29th of September, although note that this is for the multiplayer aspect of the game.
