Microsoft announced a few days ago that it was adding a new feature to the latest preview of Windows 10. The feature, called Continue on PC, aims to make it easier for users to jump from any mobile device to their PC. The feature was initially launched with support for Android only but Microsoft has now confirmed that the Continue on PC feature is available to iPhone users as well.
The Continue on PC feature enables mobile device users to use the share button to push an open web page from their handset to the PC. Microsoft has released an app to bring the same feature to iPhone users. They will now be able to send web browsing sessions from iPhone to their Windows 10 PC.
Bear in mind that this feature is only available to users in the “Fast” ring of the Windows 10 Insiders preview program. It won’t work on the public version of Windows 10 at this point in time. Microsoft is yet to confirm when this feature will be released for all Windows 10 users.
The Continue on PC feature will become more useful in the days to come. It will eventually enable users to share content to and from linked PCs as well as use a universal clipboard to copy and paste context between cross-platform devices.
