Honor, a sub-brand of Chinese smartphone giant Huawei, has said that it’s going to unveil a new “epic” smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 next week. The Consumer Electronics Show is an annual gathering of countless tech companies who showcase their latest products to the world in Las Vegas. Every year, CES brings us a plethora of new smartphones which is why it makes absolute sense for Honor to decide to unveil its next smartphone on the CES stage.

Honor hasn’t revealed a lot of details about its upcoming handset but the teaser image that has been sent out suggests that the handset could feature a dual-camera setup.

It’s unclear at this point in time what other features and functionality this device might offer. It can’t be said for sure as well whether or not the company is going to launch this handset in the United States, despite the fact that it’s launching the device at an event which takes place in the United States.

Honor currently sells only two handsets in the U.S. officially, the Honor 8 and the Honor 5X. Both are sold unlocked and off-contract since they’re not available from the country’s major mobile carriers.

Honor will unveil this new handset on January 3rd, 2017 at CES in Las Vegas.
