The Consumer Electronics Show 2017 is just around the corner which means that in just a few days we will be treated to a host of new gadgets. Several companies are due to unveil new smartphones at the event and China-based ZTE is likely to be one of them. One of the handsets it’s expected to introduce at CES 2017 has been leaked online, it’s the ZTE Blade V8 which features a dual camera on the back.
Interestingly, the leak comes from ZTE’s own website. It appears that marketing images of the ZTE Blade V8 were posted on the company’s website ahead of schedule. They have since been taken down but because this is the internet, those images have now been widely distributed online.
Reports suggest that the ZTE Blade V8 is going to be a mid-range smartphone that runs on a Snapdragon 435 processor from Qualcomm coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The handset is said to have a matte finish metal body with a 5.2 inch full HD display enclosed in 2.5D glass.
The biggest selling point is likely going to be the 13 megapixel / 2 megapixel dual camera system on the back. Dual camera systems are something that quite a few manufacturers are doing these days for some of their smartphones so it’s not surprising to see ZTE follow suit as well.
Expect the company to reveal more information about this device at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 in the first week of January.
