If you are an Xbox One gamer who ran into issues regarding the multiplayer aspect of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, you’ll be pleased to learn that Activision has recently rolled out an emergency patch that will fix the issue. So far based on what gamers are saying, it seems that the patch has addressed this problem.
In case you’re learning about this for the first time, basically Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was giving players trouble when trying to connect to multiplayer games. To be more specific, those who were affected were Xbox One gamers, so if you play the game on either the PS4 or the PC you should not have encountered this issue.
The error message that greeted players read, “The game will now restart due to an update failure. (Error Code: POLANA)”. This affected the multiplayer portion and Zombies mode of the game. If you have yet to download the latest patch then you should probably go ahead and update your game so that you can get it back up and running. In the meantime there has not been any reports of other problems, so thankfully this was addressed in a relatively speedy manner (about 24 hours after the problem was reported).
