moto-m-leakThe Moto M is an upcoming handset that we have heard that Motorola is working on. The handset is expected to be officially revealed at an event on the 8th of November, but it seems that in the meantime, thanks to a recent post by Nowhereelse.fr (via Android Central), alleged official press renderings of the phone have since been leaked.

As you can see in the image above, the Moto M is one sleek looking device, although part of its design does have us thinking of HTC, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. As you can tell from the image, it will come with a fingerprint sensor placed on its back, but since we can’t see the whole phone, we’re not sure if it will come with the connectors that will make it compatible with the Moto Mods.

As for its specs, the Moto M is not the most powerful smartphone from the company. It is said to feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display, and under the hood a MediaTek Helio P15 chipset can be found with its processor clocked at 2.2GHz. Prior to that there were rumors that it could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615.

There is also said to be 4GB of RAM accompanying the phone with 32GB of onboard storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion, a 16MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3,050mAh battery, whereas previously we heard it would be a 5,100mAh battery but it seems that rumor did not pan out. Either way check back with us on the 8th of November for the official details.
