Update: the LG V20 has been launched since the report on this rumor. Unfortunately, it does NOT have a 4000 mAh battery, but a 3200 mAh battery which is removable. Check our LG V20 Review.
We’re just a day away from LG’s official announcement of its next flagship smartphone and a new rumor out of China has brought us some purported LG V20 specifications. We’ve already seen leaked renders and pictures of this handset and have even seen some reports about its specs and features. The latest suggests that the LG V20 is going to have a 4,000mAh battery as well as a 16 megapixel dual rear camera.
The LG V20 is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM. It’s also believed to have a 5.7 inch Quad HD primarily display with a secondary ticker display at the top.
Google has already confirmed that the V20 is going to be the first smartphone that runs Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box. LG has also teased the new flagship’s exceptional audio experience which may bring high-quality 32 bit sound to this mobile device.
The only thing that’s surprising in the latest rumor is the claim of a 4,000mAh battery. That would be a great addition to this device and would certainly make it stand out from the crowd. Whether or not that’s actually the case remains to be seen.
LG is going to officially announce the V20 at an event in San Francisco. We’ll bring you the latest as it happens.
