PlayStation Japan said last year that Driveclub VR is going to be one of the launch titles for PlayStation VR when the virtual reality headset arrives later this year. A second confirmation has now been provided by the North American division of Sony. Now you should have no doubt in your mind about the fact that Driveclub VR is a launch title for Sony’s first virtual reality headset.
Sony says that Driveclub VR will enable gamers to truly experience the speed, sensation, and precision of driving some of the world’s best high-performance cars in a virtual environment.
Driveclub VR will include an online VR multiplayer race mode as well as an exciting single player career mode which includes time trial and drifting challenges. The Cruise Mode will enable players to relax and just coast to explore any track in any country.
Classic Driveclub tracks have been added to the VR version of this game while it also comes with five all new tracks. Inspection Mode enables players to take a very close look at 80 cars that have been recreated with immaculate detail.
Gamescom 2016 attendees can check out Driveclub VR at the Sony booth. PlayStation VR is due to arrive later this year on October 13th.
