Have an Instagram post that you’re writing halfway but need to do something else? Unfortunately for Instagram users, this meant either posting it as it is, or discarding it and having to redo it all again later. Thankfully it looks like Instagram has heard your plight and according to some lucky users, the developers are testing out a new feature.
This is a draft feature, meaning that just like emails, you will be able to save your Instagram draft and go back to editing it later. We’re not sure why you might need such a feature. Maybe you have multiple posts planned but don’t want to flood your feed, so maybe you create a few drafts to remind yourself to post them later.
Or maybe there’s a scathing post you’re planning to make, but you’ve decided to draft it until cooler heads prevail. Whatever your reason is, this is where the draft feature will come in. In fact we have to wonder what took Instagram so long to bring it to the table, but we suppose better late than never, right?
However like we said, this appears to be a feature in testing and whether or not it will become mainstream for all users remains to be seen, but we do like what we hear and we hope that it will be available to all users in the near future.
