galaxy-note-7-s-pen_02-tipSamsung’s displays have always been amazing, which is why the company is also responsible for supplying many a display panel to various smartphone makers. Of course with every release, Samsung tries to improve itself and up its game, and it seems that they have managed to do just that with the Galaxy Note 7.

In our review of the handset, the display was one of the features that we praised very highly, and it seems that we are not alone in our adulation. According to Dr. Raymond M. Soneira of DisplayMate, he has also concluded, based on scientific testing and analysis, that the Galaxy Note 7 does indeed have the best smartphone display to date.

According to Soneira, “Almost every display lab test and measurement shows some improvements compared to the Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S7.” The tests also shows that the Note 7’s display has a wide color gamut, meaning that the range of colors it can produce is wide, letting users see more detail and depth in terms of color.

Of course at the end of the day, whether or not you enjoy its display is entirely up to your personal preference. There are some who have criticized Samsung’s displays, calling it overly saturated and “unrealistic”, but like we said, it really boils down to personal preference.
