Last week the folks at Android Police posted up renders of what they claimed would be the upcoming Nexus handsets from HTC, codenamed Sailfish and Marlin. From what we can tell, it seems that both handsets will look the same but pack different specs, with one handset having higher-end specs compared to the other.
Thanks to a post on Reddit by ApSciLeonard, he has decided to give the concept renderings a splash of color. Now Nexus handsets haven’t exactly been known to have a colorful palette, save maybe for the Nexus 5 which came in at least a trio of colors, but given how these renderings look, we have to say that they look pretty amazing.
We should point out that the original render from Android Police is a mockup based on the information that they were told, and these color variants are just based on those renderings, so they aren’t exactly official and we guess we can’t really say that they were “leaked” since they are just mockups.
However as we said in our previous post, they do look good. There is a bit of a HTC feel going on in terms of its design, which isn’t a bad thing, but which colors do you guys prefer (we’re leaning towards red)?
