We know that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is going to be announced soon, and that later this week we will probably be treated to the Galaxy J2 with its new Smart Glow feature, but in the meantime it looks like Samsung has a new phone that they will be adding to their portfolio in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Wide.
The handset has been recently announced and it isn’t exactly the most powerful phone we’ve seen, but chances are Samsung will probably be targeting this phone at consumers who don’t have a very big budget to spend, so don’t be surprised when you find out what kind of specs the phone will be packing under its hood.
For starters we can look forward to a 5.5-inch HD display and as far as its processor is concerned, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory, a 3,000mAh battery, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and will come with Android 6.0 out of the box.
At the moment it also appears that the Galaxy Wide will only be available in the South Korean market where it is price at around $275. There is no indication that Samsung will be bringing it stateside, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled anyway.
