Every year without fail, Valve will host a Steam Summer Sale in which many titles, both big and small, will receive discounts across the board, ranging from small discounts up to huge discounts. This means that if you have been thinking of buying some new games but don’t have the money for all of them, the Summer Sale should make it easier on your wallet.
That being said, it looks like this year’s dates have been leaked, thanks to a post on Reddit in which it has been revealed that the 2016 Steam Summer Sale will be taking place from the 23rd of June until the 4th of July, 2016. This is slightly later than last year’s sale which kicked off early June, but we suppose better late than never.
Of course it should be noted that since this isn’t official information, maybe you shouldn’t be marking your calendars just yet. However given that last year’s leaked dates were leaked accurately by the same poster for this year’s dates, we suppose it is possible that the dates we are looking at are the real deal.
In any case we’ll be keeping an eye out for an official announcement, but in the meantime we guess you guys can start making the games that you are thinking of buying and hopefully they will be receiving some pretty generous discounts.
