motozWell, with Motorola being rather busy today with the unveiling of not one, neither two, but three handsets in the form of the Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus and Moto G Play, this does not mean that we are done with all things Motorola. In fact, while there is not much movement on the grapevine considering whether there will be additional Moto X handsets down the road, the reason, if deduced, is rather obvious. Motorola could have simply decided to stop rolling out any more Moto X devices in the future, and according to rather reliable leakster Evan Blass, Motorola Mobility and Lenovo would see off the Moto X series by introducing a new range – the Moto Z family.

It is also said that the first two Moto Z handsets that will hit the market will come with 5.5” displays, where it will be known as Moto Z Style (codenamed Vector Thin) and Moto Z Play (codenamed Vertex), and it goes without saying that these intend to continue where the Moto X Style and Moto X Play left off from before. Do you think that the new Moto Z series has that kind of zest to be able to attract the attention of the masses?
