The thing about children is that they are unburdened by the rules that society has placed on us adult, and thus are more inquisitive and prone to question why certain things are done a certain way. If you’ve ever seen a kid’s drawing before, they certainly do have a fertile imagination where they just draw whatever they want, even if it makes no sense.
One such drawing was made by a Blizzard fan’s daughter in which she pitched a character for the game. Now it’s hard to tell what she was going for, but Roman Kenney, a Blizzard artist, decided to take her work and turn it into concept art for a character that looks like it could have been part of the game which you can see for yourself in the image above.
According to the girl’s description of the character, the character is called “Birst” and she has a boomerang, lasers in her suit, and has “things in a bag on her dress”. Inside her bag, she has a “heeling” box and her character can either be played as a healer or an assassin type character. She can also fly and “jump so high”.
Kind of sounds like the perfect character to us! Now we doubt that Blizzard will actually turn her character into a playable one since we’re sure they get tons of fan requests all the time, but kudos to them for replying to this one and actually taking it one step further! In the meantime Overwatch has been set for a release on the 24th of May, and if you haven’t pre-ordered the game, you can still go ahead and do so.
