When it comes to Nintendo, you more or less know that their first party titles are definitely not something to be trifled with – these tend to come with a high level of quality and commitment during the creation and development process, and so far, majority of their first party titles have proven to be unprecedented hits in their own right. Star Fox is one of them, delivering revolutionary graphics when it first appeared all those years ago. Now we have received word that Star Fox Zero is set to arrive on the Nintendo Wii U this 22nd of April.
Of course, the good news does not stop there for fans of the Star Fox game, as you will not only be on the receiving end of Star Fox Zero on the Wii U, it is also set to be accompanied by an additional game. For those who prefer to opt for the physical version of the title, it will boast of Star Fox: Guard, which is a tower-defense style game that will run on the Wii U (where else?). Alternatively, one will be able to download both games mentioned separately as digital releases, depending on whatever floats your boat. I guess Star Fox Zero is Nintendo’s attempt to end the Wii U life cycle with a bang, especially when we have received word of the Nintendo NX next generation console and their foray into the world of mobile games.
Good things do come to those who wait after all, when Star Fox Zero missed its 2015 release date.
