Destiny players have some amazing new content to look forward to next month. The folks at Bungie have confirmed the release date for Destiny’s April update. Version 2.2.0, referred to “April Update” by Bungie, is going to have something for every type of Guardian. Some of the highlights that players can look forward to in this update include new and updated gear, new PVE challenges and more.
Destiny’s April Update is also going to bring a new quest featuring the Blighted Chalice Strike, increased max light and rewards, sandbox and crucible updates and more. As Bungie says, it’s going to bring something for every type of Guardian.
Players who already have Destiny: The Taken King need not worry about purchasing this latest update as the April Update is included with their purchase. When it’s released next month they just need to download the update and they’ll be good to go.
Over the next three Wednesday, Destiny is going to provide more details about the April update on Twitch. It will introduce us to some of the artists and designers who will reveal what they’ve packed in this update. Click here to go to Bungie’s official Twitch channel.
