After all, Apple is known for its pricey products, and we doubt the Apple Car will shy away from that. Turns out we weren’t wrong. According to a report from Apple Car Fans, they sat down in an interview with analyst Gene Munster, who shared his estimates that he thinks that the Apple Car could end up being priced at around $75,000.
This price is also slightly more than what we heard before. Last year another group of analysts had estimated that the car could cost around $55,000. In addition to predicting its price, Munster also suggested that we will most likely be seeing the car either in 2019 or 2020. “There will be a car that you can see and order in 2019-2020. We don’t think it will probably be delivered until after that…maybe 2021.”
He claims that the reason for the later delivery is to hold the market in anticipation. Of course all of this is just rumor for now, and previously we had heard Tim Cook say that with regards to the Apple Car, “it’s going to be Christmas Eve for a while,” indicating that if and when Apple does launch it, it won’t be taking place anytime soon.
