Love can be found in many different places. We have seen gamers who have met inside a virtual game like World of Warcraft who end up dating and getting married. Recently according to reports, it seems that Instagram is a pretty good place for finding love too, at least for a couple who had initially met on the photo sharing platform.
Erica Harris and Arte Vann both met on Instagram in which Harris found herself attracted to Vann based on the way he talked to women. Speaking to CBS Local, “What drew me to him is a lot of men, you can tell how they are to women through their comments. I saw that Arte was very personal, and he was very attentive, and thought, ‘Wow this guy seems like a nice guy.’”
They both ended up following each other and things escalated from there. However just like a movie, there are ups and downs. At one point, Harris felt that she and Vann were getting too close too fast, and both ended up deleting their Instagram accounts. They later changed their minds and when Harris went to message Vann, she got no reply. Little did she know that Vann was in a car accident and was hospitalized.
However Vann managed to get back in touch and things just picked up from there, so much so that Vann decided to quit his job in New York and bought a one-way ticket to California, after it was suggested by one of their followers that they should get married. Upon meeting in person, both of them got married on the spot in the airport (it was all premeditated and arranged, according to airport officials).
