[CES 2016] If you’d rather not walk about with a fitness band or smartwatch strapped to your wrist, but you’re still interested in logging your activity, you might be familiar with devices like the Jawbone UP MOVE or the Misfit Flash, both of which are tiny activity trackers that can be hooked onto your bag or belt and forgotten.
However it looks like you’ll have one more option to choose from and it comes in the form of the Withings Go. As you can see in the photo, this is a tiny activity tracker that looks similar to the other devices we mentioned earlier. However unlike the other devices, the Withings Go has a slight advantage in the sense that it packs a display.
This is an e-ink display meaning that it uses relatively low power, but at the same time it should provide you with the basic information like distance covered, calorie burn, counting of steps, and even monitoring your quality of sleep. Just like the other devices, the Go can be clipped onto a belt, bag, shirt, or sports bra.
The Withings Go will come with an accompanying app that will also be able to log all the information the gadget has recorded, and to top things off, it is also 5 ATM waterproof and its battery is said to last a good 8 months before needing changing. However the downside is that it will cost you more at $69.95 when it is launched in the first quarter of 2016.
