When it comes to budget smartphones in China, safe to say that there are tons of options to choose from, with companies such as Xiaomi, Oppo, and Huawei leading the charge. However if you’re looking for alternatives, you might be interested to learn that Lenovo has recently launched their latest budget smartphone, the Lenovo Lemon 3.
In terms of specs, the Lemon 3 actually packs some pretty decent hardware for its price. For starters, it will feature a 5-inch Full HD display, and under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 chipset can be found, which will also be accompanied by 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD.
As for its optics, the Lemon 3 will feature a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and as for its battery, it will come with a pretty decently sized 2,750mAh battery. Given that the phone isn’t too powerful, we reckon that 2,750mAh battery should last you a while. There is also 4G LTE connectivity, dual SIM support, and your usual host of connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, and etc.
The Lenovo Lemon 3 is priced at RMB699 which is about $105 converted. No word on whether Lenovo will be bringing the Lemon 3 stateside, so if you want it you’ll have to grey import it or look for a US alternative.
