When it comes to wearable devices such as the smartwatch, the folks over at HP are no strangers in this department. After all, they have worked with watchmaker Titan before to roll out a slew of new smartwatches, and this time around, HP has something in store for those who love all things bright and shiny. After all, it can be rather difficult to resist a timepiece that sports a bevy of Swarovski crystals as well as a see-through screen, don’t you think so?
This particular beautifully designed timepiece is the result of HP’s partnership with American designer Isaac Mizrahi, where it resembles majority of the other Swarovski-encrusted objects. What makes it stand out from the rest of the crowd would be this – a transparent screen which can be activated simply by turning the dial, now how about that?
Such a smartwatch will hook up to an iOS 8+ or an Android 4.4+ device over a Bluetooth connection, where it will then be able to showcase the likes of incoming calls, messages, emails, as well as the total number of steps taken, courtesy of its integrated pedometer. Functionality does seem to be rather limited, however, as one cannot make use of it to send voice messages, to listen to music, or even to pay for your purchases. The asking price for one of these beauties would be $250 a pop if you’re interested.
