It looks like ZTE intends to expand their Axon family of smartphones even more, with the advent of the latest model, the ZTE Axon Max. The ZTE Axon Max will be of the larger variety, that is, straddling the area between a smartphone and a tablet, and this Android-powered device will fall under the phablet category. As for the list of hardware specifications, let us check out what there is in store underneath the hood right after the jump.
For starters, the ZTE Axon Max will be powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop with Mifavor 3.5 running the show above, accompanied by a 6” Full HD AMOLED display as well as a 13MP camera in front for selfie lovers, whereas the back will see a 16MP shooter that has flash and a fingerprint reader to boot. Within the 7.5mm-thick aluminum chassis lies a Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory that can be further expanded via a microSD memory card slot, and 4G LTE connectivity.
Expect a 4,140mAh battery to power the ZTE Axon Max throughout the day, while a reversible USB Type-C port ensures that it keeps up with the Joneses where the latest and greatest is concerned. The ZTE Axon Max should retail for approximately $432 after conversion for its pre-order in China. Hopefully it will come pre-loaded with a Fleksy keyboard.
