HP might not necessarily be a brand you think of when it comes to smartphones. The company has attempted to create its own smartphones in the past, but safe to say that fast forward to today, HP might be more of a brand you would associate with the likes of computers and printers and photocopy machines.
However according to a report from German publication Dr Windows (via WMPoweruser), they have heard from their source that HP has a Windows 10 Mobile handset in the works called the HP Falcon that they could be planning on unveiling at MWC 2016. The event will be taking place in February so it looks like we only have a couple of months to find out all the details.
That being said based on the report, it seems to suggest that HP might still be deciding whether or not to go ahead with the project, but if they were to do so it would be at MWC 2016. According to the alleged specs, the phone is said to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with a 5.8-inch QHD display, 2GB of RAM, a 20MP rear-facing camera, and a 12MP front-facing camera with 64GB of storage.
This would no doubt put the phone ahead of Microsoft’s own flagship handsets, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing because having more options to choose from would be good for the Windows 10 Mobile community. However do take it with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys make of the phone so far?
