Remember several months ago when the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ were announced, and Samsung also thought that maybe a keyboard cover might be a good idea? We have to admit that the idea isn’t a bad one. After all some users do enjoy pressing on physical keys, but admittedly its design left a lot to be desired.
That being said, it looks like Samsung will be trying their hand at another keyboard cover. According to a report from SamMobile, they have heard from their sources that Samsung is apparently working on a keyboard cover for both the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, both of which are reportedly due for a launch early 2016.
No word on what it might look like, except that as far as official cases/covers are concerned, the keyboard cover is one of them. Hopefully Samsung will come up with a better design this time, especially when you consider that their phones are actually pretty well-designed to begin with. Also given that the Galaxy S-series tends to be smaller than their Note series, we have to wonder if a keyboard cover might end up obstructing too much of its display.
Other potential covers and accessories for the upcoming phones include a Glitter cover, an S View cover, and a Clear cover.
