Feel like a sleuth? Frogwares Studios has just the thing for you. The studio is going to formally unveil the next title in its Sherlock Holmes franchise at the Paris Games Week. Today it has confirmed that a new title is being developed, the new game is called Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter and it’s going to be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the coming year.
Players will take on five challenging and intriguing cases in the new title, they will also be able to free roam in an expansive landscape of playable terrain. Everyday gaming skill can be challenged in fast-paced action sequences with the studio promising an “unprecedented experience” thanks to its unique blend of game mechanics. It also promises “state-of-the-art graphics” to bring Victorian London to life.
The gameplay will be challenging to say the least, in each investigation there will be multiple suspects and Mr. Holmes will have to work everything out to find out who really did it. Every choice will matter as his logic is “overwhelmed by family stories, irresistible emotions and an occult revenge.”
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter will be published by BigBen Interactive, it’s expected to be released in spring 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The developers will go into more detail about the upcoming title at Paris Games Week.
