About a week ago LG announced the LG G Pad 2 8.0. If you’re a fan of smaller tablets then that device would have suited you just fine. However if you prefer larger displays then you might be interested to learn that LG has recently announced the larger sibling of the G Pad 2 8.0 in the form of the LG G Pad 2 10.1.
As its name suggests, this tablet will come with a 10.1-inch display instead of an 8-inch. In some ways the tablet is also an upgrade over the G Pad 2 8.0. For starters its display resolution instead of being 800×1200, it will be a Full HD resolution. It will also be considerably more powerful thanks to its use of the Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 2.26GHz.
There will also be 2GB of RAM accompanying the device, 16GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera, and a pretty sizable 7,400mAh battery that should hopefully last you quite a while. It will also support LTE connectivity amongst the other options such a WiFi and Bluetooth.
No word on pricing or availability just yet, but LG states that they will be revealing additional details at IFA 2015 which kicks off early September, so do check back with us then for the details.
