The Xbox One is certainly a high powered console that has some years left in its service before it is phased out by a faster and more powerful console, but you can be sure that the Xbox One could very well go through a metamorphosis in a sense where it might be much closer to a traditional gaming PC machine than expected – as Microsoft gaming boss Phil Spencer has dropped a hint on Twitter that the Xbox One would be on the receiving end of mouse as well as keyboard support.
In other words, the Xbox One will eventually play nice with a USB mouse for the simple fact that the console itself already sports keyboard support at the moment. How soon will the masses then be able to see official mouse support on the Xbox One? Taking into consideration how the Xbox One runs on an update schedule that will obtain a patch approximately one time each month, then chances are we could be looking at something more concrete before the year is over.
