The modern day smartphone does require a fair amount of juice to run, and even more so if you use a whole lot of its functions each day. Well, we have read about folks charging their smartphones in the most improper of places before, such as a Broadway set, and here we are with 45-year old Robin Lee who actually charged his iPhone onto a London Overground train’s outlet. This did not go down too well with the authorities, of course, as he was arrested for the charge of stealing electricity from the train.
If one were to take into consideration that the cost to juice up an iPhone each year is more or less negligible, it would seem as though this might be some form of petty theft. However, despite being de-arrested, Lee was arrested again as it was alleged that he exhibited aggressive behavior toward a police community support officer.
I suppose having a power bank would make plenty of sense in this case, since you need not get yourself in such a sticky situation. Not only that, you should also look forward to iOS 9 since it is touted that iOS 9 will offer an additional hour of battery life the moment it is installed on your iPhone.
