So we have seen smart suitcases in the past where it comes with all sorts of fancy tech wizardry like Bluetooth, GPS, displays, speakers, built-in weighing scale, and more. Pretty elaborate but at the end of the day, it’s really just a suitcase that upon reaching your destination, it will most likely end up being chucked into a corner and forgotten about until you leave.
Well if you’re more about functionality, you might be interested in a suitcase by the name of the ShelfPack. This is a regular suitcase and it does not come with the same features as smart suitcases, but it does come with a very functional and practical feature – a built-in shelf. Basically this suitcase contains components that can be easily assembled into a makeshift shelf on the fly.
This might be handy when you’re trying to pack as it helps you organize your different types of clothes. It can also come in handy if you’re staying at a cheap hotel that does not provide a large enough closet, or maybe you don’t want the hassle of having to unpack again. The only downside is that the ShelfPack is both expensive and rather deep, making it slightly bigger than your average suitcase.
It’s a clever idea and while there are similar solutions offered on the market, they’re usually sold as suitcase attachments and not built into the suitcase itself, so if this sounds like something you might be interested in, hit up its website where you can order one for $349.
