The HP Chomebook 11 has been around for quite some time already, where have have seen our fair share of previous iterations. It is nice to see companies stick to a normal naming convention regardless of the generation of the product right now, and the HP Chromebook 11 happens to be one of them. It does look as though the fourth generation model is in the pipeline, although some might claim that this is just the fourth different version – it really depends on which side of the fence you are on.
Originally introduced as a 11.6” device in 2013, it is less than a couple of years down the road that the fourth version is on its way. The upcoming HP Chromebook 11 G4 is touted to come with an Intel Bay Trail processor, with the ability to have up to 4GB of RAM, alongside a starting price point that is not too difficult for folks to fork out – $219 a pop.
The new model has obviously not received an official introduction just yet, but you can check out the “QuickSpecs” sheet for additional details. Some of the minor updates include a speedier Intel Celeron N2840 processor, and an optional IPS display that will be available from next month onward.
