Everyone is out there looking for the best bang that their hard earned buck is able to deliver, taking into consideration how difficult times are these days across the globe. It is also nice to know that there are parties out there which do not mind doing their best to deliver plenty of value for money, and the ZTE Overture 2 is one of such handsets. In fact, it holds the distinction of being one of the most affordable smartphones in the US that run on the Android Lollipop mobile operating system, now how about that?
The asking price for the ZTE Overture 2 would make flagship models blush – it will require just $50 on your side, and you’re good to go. Out today in the US by Cricket Wireless, the ZTE Overture 2 will (obviously) take over from where the ZTE Overture makes its exit, which has been quite some time in coming since its predecessor was released in early 2013.
The $49.99 smartphone is available sans contract, although you will need to activate it on Cricket and select one of its monthly plans that begin at $40. Heck, after being a good paymaster for 2 months of service, you will even obtain a $50 mail-in rebate, now how about that? For $50, you get a 4.5-inch display at 854 x 480 resolution, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, LTE support, a 5MP camera at the back with LED flash, a VGA selfie shooter, and a 2,100 mAh battery.
