Speakers come in a variety of designs. Some are boring and straightforward, while some are pretty futuristic and sleek-looking (think companies like Bang & Olufsen). However it seems that despite all the various designs, we reckon it would be pretty hard to top the Sound Torch which is a Bluetooth speaker to have flames literally shooting out from the top of it (although this isn’t the first time we’ve seen fire speakers).
The creators of the speakers are planning to launch their project on Kickstarter where it will be funded, but in the meantime for those who are interested in signing up to be notified, you can leave your email and they will notify you when it goes live. Now we’re not sure how this works exactly, like how does one have fire and not damage or overheat the internals, but it does sound intriguing and it is a novel idea at the very least.
According to its description, “Did Metallica cry because there were going to be pyrotechnics on stage? No! Even Jimi Hendrix set his guitar on fire. Imagine if Avicii or Hardwell couldn’t use fire in their show? Disaster – Its all about the FIRE not small pretty bubbles for kids.” This isn’t the first fire-inspired set of speakers we’ve seen, but pyromaniacs out there might be interested in this.
Oh, and we should point out that the Kickstarter project will only be limited to 100 units, so if the video above of the speakers in action is enough to convince you, then you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for it.
