Some of us don’t place too much value in the packaging of our purchases and waste no time in tearing it open to get to the actual product. However if you’re the type that truly values and appreciates the concept and design of a product’s packaging, you might be interested to learn that alleged photos of the Apple Watch’s packaging has been revealed.
As you can see in the image above, the packaging of the Apple Watch is similar in style to Apple’s other products. It’s white, minimalist, and very clean in its design. We have to say that while it does look like Apple’s style, there is a chance that it could be fake. After all there are plenty of photos circulating the internet that shows off fake Apple Watches, so for all we know this could be one of them.
However as the photos were reportedly taken in the Daily Mail’s office, there is a good chance that it could be the real deal, but take it with a grain of salt nonetheless. That being said, we are a little disappointed with its design as we were hoping that Apple would craft a more elaborate box for the device. After all if they are trying to emulate the watch industry, then a more solid form of packaging should be in order.
It is possible that the $10,000 Apple Watch Edition could feature a more luxurious packaging, but that remains to be seen. In the meantime pre-orders of the Apple Watch are expected to go live come 10th of April with a release on the 24th.
