No doubt that the OnePlus One has managed to make its way onto the lists of many when it comes down to being one of the best devices of last year, and we do know that there has been plenty of whispers going around concerning a possible successor. In fact, the rumors have started to gain more and more traction, where it looks as though the successor will arrive with its fair share of hardware goodness such as a 5.5” Quad HD display, 4GB RAM and Qualcomm’s highly vaunted Snapdragon 810 processor. Of course, all of those will remain as rumors until the real deal is revealed, and OnePlus chief exec Carl Pei did mention to PCWold that the OnePlus Two will ‘arrive in about six months’, which would point to a September or October release.
It is rather unfortunate for the masses then, to learn that the “invite system” that you see above, will remain in place when the OnePlus Two rolls out, as Pei reasoned, “In the beginning of a product life cycle, we’re going to keep using the invite system to control our risk.”
Well, do you think that the OnePlus Two will also be a huge success when it hits the market?
