Everything should be taken and done in moderation, even if it is good for you, like exercise, and especially when it comes to video games. Too often have we heard tragic stories of how gamers have died after spending too much time playing video games, and it looks like despite all those warnings, some still insist on playing video games for hours on end.
The latest tragedy comes from China as it has been reported that a 24-year old gamer by the name of Wu Tai ended up coughing blood and collapsing while playing World of Warcraft in an internet cafe for 19 hours straight. Chances are Wu Tai had a pre-existing condition and the lack of rest probably did not do any wonders for his body.
According to reports, gamers in the cafe saw Wu Tai starting to cough and dab blood away from his mouth. They asked if he was alright, to which he insisted he was, but they called an ambulance anyway. Unfortunately Wu Tai died before they arrived. It is unclear as to how he died since an autopsy has yet to be performed, but either way this is not the first time we’ve heard such stories so perhaps getting up and out of your chair for a few minutes every hour might not be such a bad idea after all.
