Huawei introduced us to the Huawei Watch at MWC 2015 but unfortunately neglected to tell us how much the device would cost. Given its rather premium looking design, it was safe to assume that it would not be similarly priced as other Android Wear devices. In fact there were rumors that it could even go up to $1,000 in price.
At that time it was a bit ridiculous but ever since Apple confirmed the Apple Watch’s price, $1,000 doesn’t seem too bad. Thankfully you might not have to pay that much or even close to the $1,000 mark. Recently a German website (via GSMArena) was found to have listed the pricing of the Huawei Watch where it was priced between €349 to €399 depending on which finish you choose.
This is of course significantly cheaper than the Apple Watch and much lower than what was originally rumored. It does however make it more expensive than its rivals but if don’t mind paying more for its somewhat classy design, then perhaps it could be worth it. We should note that these prices might not be the official ones.
Retailers sometimes put placeholders in its listings until the official pricing has been revealed, so there’s always a chance that Huawei could price it higher or (hopefully) lower. Either way we will be keeping our eyes peeled for more information regarding its price.
