Microsoft has started rolling out the Xbox One February Update. The company releases updates every month for the console as part of its commitment to listen and deliver on the feedback from the community. Xbox One now has more features because of this approach and the latest update brings any improvements and enhancements for the console.
The Xbox One controller will now be more stable and faster after this update. Microsoft says that connections to the console will now take only about two seconds as opposed to four-five seconds previously. The update also fixes some disconnect issues that Xbox One users will facing with the controllers.
Xbox One gets Game hubs with this update. They’re described as “go-to centers” for content and tips on titles. All Xbox One games will have a Game hub where users will be able to see which of their friends are playing that title, see game broadcasts and follow the leaderboards.
Microsoft has also added custom backgrounds and tile transparency to Home tiles, this will make background images more visible.
Users must keep in mind that some items can not be made transparent and that’s due to usage rights and restrictions for certain images.
As always, the company signs off with the promise of more to come in the future. It will soon reveal what next month’s update will bring and many will have their fingers crossed for the Xbox One screenshot feature.
