Long time Windows users would have known by now that trying to fix issues involving Windows, or to perform a simple reinstall can end up as a real annoying experience, especially when it comes to making use of the install DVD – which some machines were sold without one of these bad boys. Thankfully, Microsoft is, at long last, making available a Windows 7 ISO for download.
This is certainly a more than welcome solution to what seems to be a long standing problem, and Microsoft has made it all the more easy for the masses to download Windows 7 directly from their site. Needless to say, this is not a free version, since you will first need your license key before you are able to authenticate the copy, but it is a step forward in the direction to say the very least. Do take note, however, that should your device arrive with an OEM volume license, you might end up running into a brick wall. Basically, those of you out there who are still able to access your license, this is a perfectly legal method for downloading a Windows 7 ISO that could come handy down the road, as you can never quite tell just when you might need it.
