Earlier last year ahead of MWC 2015, LG announced the LG L70 (alongside other handsets). The phone came with a 4.5-inch display but if the recent speculation is anything to go on, it seems that we can look forward to the LG L70 receiving a small upgrade in its display, ultimately bumping it up to 4.7-inches.
This is according to a recent sighting on Indian import/export database Zauba which lists a certain LG Y70 with having a 4.7-inch 720p HD display. The listing also says that the phone will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box which is actually a good thing, but unfortunately apart from its upgrade in display size and resolution, not much else is known about the handset at the moment.
MyLGPhones has also suggested that the handset could be the successor to the LG F70 which was also launched early last year in February. The LG F70 isn’t a particularly impressive phone either as it packed a 4.5-inch 480×800 display, so either way this handset, whichever successor it will be, will still be an upgrade.
In any case we can’t be sure when the LG “Y70” will be launched, but given that MWC 2015 is kicking off next month, perhaps we could learn more about the handset before or during the event, so be sure to check back with us later for the details.
