Huawei has just introduced their very first smartband that will be able to deliver LTE connectivity where wearable technology is concerned. Of course, there is more than meets the eye, since this particular band will be able to support Huawei’s 4.5G network that is all set to roll out commercially from next year onward. This particular band is capable of tracking a user’s fitness level as well as perform measurements of the wearer’s heart rate.
Should it happen to be similar to that of Huawei’s existing smartband, it ought to then arrive with a 1.4” OLED display, NFC and Bluetooth connectivity, and is also resistant to both dust and water.
