When it comes to the world of smartphones, the name Alcatel might not really send the masses into throes of delirium whenever a new device is about to be announced, but that is mostly because the company had always adopted a rather safe approach to smartphones. The One Touch range has seen its fair share of misses in the past, too, but perhaps Alcatel’s fortunes might change with the upcoming release of the One Touch 6045 that was spotted over at the GFXBenchmark database.
This upcoming smartphone from Alcatel is said to be powered by a 64-bit processor, where it will carry an alleged Snapdragon 610 chipset alongside a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and 2GB of RAM. GFXBenchmark has also reported that the One Touch 6045 will have a 13.7” display, which is humongous and totally out of this world, so we will take the more logical school of thought and boil this down to a mistake. Still, the exact size of the display is as much a mystery to you and I, although the resolution has been listed down as 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Other hardware specifications point to a 7MP selfie camera, a 12MP shooter at the back, 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and interestingly enough, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop was the operating system of choice during testing.
