At the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas Sennheiser has introduced the second generation Momentum headphones. These headphones promise minimalist style, great performance in a package crafted from “finest, luxurious materials.” The second-generation brings Momentum On-Ear and for the first time this range from Sennheiser now has a wireless model.
The Momentum On-Ear Wireless has Active Noise Cancellation that touts superior audio with effortless style. All of the new Sennheiser Momentum headphone models feature a folding headband design for improved portability and enhanced wearing comfort.
Sennheiser’s new Momentum Wireless and Momentum On-Ear Wireless come with NFC technology which makes pairing with an NFC-enabled mobile device virtually painless. Superior unaltered sound is promised via the apt-X codec when connected to any Bluetooth apt-X-enabled device.
The NoiseGard noise cancellation technology leverages four microphones built into the headphones to monitor and block ambient noise. These new models also have a three-button in-line remote with integrated mic. Built-in batteries can last 22 hours.
The second generation Sennheiser Momentum and Momentum Wireless are both available in Black and Ivory colors. Sennheiser has also launched the Momentum in a classic Brown edition that is optimized for Apple’s iOS devices. The wired Momentum On-Ear will be available in Black, Ivory, Brown and Silver from January 2015.
