Moto-X-ProLast month Motorola had teased on their website that they were planning on making some announcements in China soon. Given that Lenovo now owns Motorola and that Lenovo is a Chinese company, we guess this hardly comes as a surprise. Well it looks like the phones have been revealed as announced on the official Motorola blog.

Two of the phones you guys have probably heard of – the Moto X and the Moto G, so in terms of hardware and features, you guys probably already know what to expect. However what’s interesting is the launch of the Moto X Pro. According to Motorola’s description of the phone, this sounds like the Motorola branded version of the Nexus 6.

We know it sounds weird especially since Motorola did make the Nexus 6, however in this case it looks like the phone will be launched without the Nexus branding, replacing it with Motorola’s branding instead. It will pack a 6-inch QHD display with a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, a 13MP rear-facing camera, and a 3,220mAh battery.

For now it looks like all three handsets including the Moto X Pro will be limited to a launch in China. No word on whether Motorola plans on bringing the Moto X Pro stateside or to other parts of the world, although we can’t imagine why would anyone choose it over Nexus 6.
