While the OnePlus One launched with good intentions and came preinstalled with CyanogenMod, the way the company allowed customers to pre-order the phone via an invitation system felt a bit weird and probably didn’t allow the phone to reach as many users as possible. Hopefully that is something they will fix with its successor, the OnePlus Two.
Now we have been hearing some rumors about the device but thanks to Chinese retailer Coolicool (via GSM Arena), some alleged specs of the upcoming phone have been revealed. Now we should point out that there is no way to confirm if these alleged specs are the real deal so be sure to take them with a grain of salt for now.
That being said according to Coolicool, the OnePlus Two is said to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, although in all honesty we were hoping for a Snapdragon 810 instead. They also claim that the phone will feature a 5.5-inch display although no word on whether we will still be looking at a Full HD display or an upgraded QHD one.
It is also said to pack 32GB of storage, a 16MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 3,300mAh battery under the hood. As for pricing, the retailer is estimating it will cost $551.99. OnePlus has recently confirmed that the successor to the OnePlus One is set for next year around Q2-Q3, so perhaps we will learn more by then but in the meantime what do you guys think of these specs?
