The Microsoft Band certainly raised more than a few eyebrows when it was made official at the end of last month, and it did manage to do quite well in terms of sales after being sold out shortly after it was made available. Having said that, are all of the Microsoft Bands out there created equal? Apparently not, especially when you happen to be the head of a hardware division at Microsoft. Hence seeing the head of Microsoft’s Band division carrying a customized Microsoft Band does not come across as a surprise at all, where the clasp on this particular model that you see above comes with its very own bit of chrome goodness that is sure to look nice and shiny.
Of course, other than the clasp being all chromed out, everything else about this custom Microsoft Band remains the same, and it sure as heck looks a whole lot better compared to the retail model which comes in a shade of dark matte gray, right? The Microsoft Band has been in the making for a fair number of years, so to have it finally hit the market and do rather well, too, is certainly an achievement by itself. The thing is, do you think that the $199 asking price is not where you would prefer it to be at?
