Google has finally launched its Google Fiber for Small Business to companies, which in turn would make it function as an ISP itself. This particular rollout will kick off with an Early Access Program in various places around central Kansas City. The asking price in order to take advantage of Google Fiber and all of its goodness? We are looking at approximately $100 each month.
Small enterprises will be able to sign up for a Google Fiber gigabit Internet connection on one condition – these businesses must be located in one of the two locations that have been specified by Google. If your company does not happen to fall within the predetermined areas by Google at the moment, fret not, since the technology giant does have plans to expand their Google Fiber for Small Business plans throughout Kansas City in due time, but there are no concrete plans as to the “where” and “when”.
A Google spokesperson mentioned, “I can confirm that the price is $100/month. We’re working on plans to bring Google Fiber to small businesses in more cities, although we don’t have specific details to share just yet, we hope to have an update on additional cities soon. For now, we’re focused on launching this Early Access program in Kansas City.” [Press Release]
